On Saturday for my birthday I treated myself to an MSDN subscription. I finally got back my want to program that I had lost sometime at my time at Amazon.

I had always had a fondness for C#. Something that I've not really felt for any other programming language. So I'm writing the slide scanning project on that.

And let me tell you... the integration of the toolset is so much nicer than anything that I had used at my previous employer. End-to-end integration brought by careful thought of how things ought to fit together, not a collection of disparate tools that don't know about each other.

Such a breath of fresh air.

And also fun again.
