Burgyan Patents

Growing up we would always go to to my uncle Aladár's "farm" (which I'm still trying to find on the map). He had the most awesome house as I was growing up... a darkroom and a reloading bench. A bear-skin run in front of the fireplace and a collection of trophies hanging from the walls.

I knew he worked at Ferro corporation, but I always assumed it was something like steel -- from the name.

For some reason I did a search for "ferro aladar burgyan".

He was a chemist! I never knew that!

Started off as an inorganic black pigment! :-D

It's just kind of fun knowing more about the people I grew up around.
