Oh no! A mouse!

Last night there was a bit of a commotion as the kitties were acting strange. Eventually, Alice emerged with a mouse in her mouth. (Didn't go for the kill though)

It was somewhere in or around the Florida room.

The kitties persisted in staring at various spots all night.

Today they moved and were staring at the bookcase in the Florida room. The mouse hadn't been dispatched yet. It was climbing up the brick wall. We tried to catch it but it evaded.

We looked for it but eventually hid inside the carcass of some cabinets in the laundry room.

It emerged after a while and we build a makeshift barricade between the Florida room and the laundry room. We closed the door. Now everyone was in the Florida room. Me and Ennie, the kitties, and most importantly the mouse.

🐁

With a bit of work we managed to corner the mouse in the cabinet I made (and thankfully the tolerances were close enough that the mouse couldn't run into the carcass)

I managed to get him to run into a rubbish bin. Which is what you see up top.

You'll be happy to know that the mouse is alive and well and probably living in the barn now. 😃
