Moving the blog

I finally got tired of maintaining the instance I was hosting on Amazon.

I was running an EC2 instance with WordPress installed on if for years. The thing is that I was getting tired of maintaining it. Constantly having to do upgrade the kernel, PHP, the integration with Apache. On top of that since I was running a micro instance every time someone decided to run a DOS attack on it it would hang.

I decided to move to something else. I moved the blog to Squarespace because I was tired of doing all the work myself.

And to top it off I think it’s even a bit cheaper than doing it myself. And I get a SSL cert for free.
