V2-beta 2

Well, it works! The magnetic twist-lock circular dovetail bayonet works a treat! The six pairs of magnets that hold the joint in the closed position have just the right amount of give. The dovetails hold the connection closed, even under load.

Of course I already have the V2 final version printed out. I wanted to relocate where the dovetails were to minimize the chance of damage to them in case of an impact. Other than making it incompatible with what you see up there, I think I’m done. And I’ve made this very easily parameterizable in Fusion so I don’t even have to do any work to crank out another version.

Maybe I should sell some of these?
