Accounting for cost

Ennie and I went out to the range today for a little stress reliever. Nothing quite like sending lead downrange with a loud report to take away the tension. Here's the thing. How would I account for the cost of the ammunition we expended today?I can look at the cost of acquisition. Alternately, I can look at what it would cost if I bought it today.Today's tally:

  • 110 9mm (I had 10 from the last range day in a different magazine)
  • 100 .40 S&W
  • 50 .44 Mag
  • ~ 160 .22 LR

So, my costs for them are: $0.15, $0.17, $0.20, $0.06.Costs presently: $0.75, $0.60, $0.84, $0.15.So, did I shoot $208.50 worth of ammo? Or did I shoot $53.10?Oh, by the way, I didn't mention I love the fact I reload. ;-)
