Waiting for the other shoe

I do well with unknowns, I can plan for contingencies to my heart's content. I don't nearly do as well with uncertainty.

Yes, that sounds like an oxymoron in a way; how is "unknown" different from "uncertain?"

In my case, the uncertainty is timing. When will I be full-time on the work that needs to be done with moving? Right now I'm spending my good hours at work. By the time I get home I'm basically fried.

I need to start making concrete plans with regard to moving. There are lots of moving parts in this equation, so putting things off just makes things harder down the road.

And then I go right back to work and use up all my stress for the day.
