Vacuum Hose Adapters

It’s exciting getting the shop ready. The next thing I need to do is get the dust collector situation sorted. Previously, I had a jank-ass setup with a 10’ 4” hose between the dust collector and my saw — those being the only two things in the shop. Now I have the jointer — and that has a higher demand for chip collection.

I figure I’m going to get a 20’x5” hose. 5” is the size for the planer. And it seems more managable than 6”.

What I need to do is design some parts to allow me to switch between the saw and the jointer. And eventually a router table or band saw.

What I want to do is design and 3D print a set of parts. With magnets, because it’s fun. It’s a neat side-quest.
